What we collect

We store your name, email address, account settings, and sign-in information. The workspace stores requests, assignments, due dates, comments, notifications, and any greetings you record. When you call the family number, we save your voicemail and details such as the time and duration of the call. If a transcript or suggested task is generated, we save it with the message.

How we use and share it

Authorized family members can listen to recordings, read transcripts, and manage shared tasks. An active greeting may be played to people who call the family number. We use your email for invitations, account messages, and the voicemail notifications you choose to receive.

Twilio handles calls and captures voicemails. Laravel Cloud hosts the app and its database, and DigitalOcean Spaces stores audio. OpenAI processes voicemail audio to create transcripts and processes transcript text to suggest tasks. Mailgun delivers app emails. Fastmail hosts our privacy contact inbox.

We use the information to provide and maintain Hey Roxanne. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising or tracking across apps.

Retention and your choices

Saved voicemails, transcripts, and shared tasks stay in the workspace until they are removed. Twilio may also retain its copy of a voicemail. Contact us to request access, correction, or removal of specific information, or to withdraw permission for recording or AI processing.

To delete your account, use Delete account in the app or website and confirm with your password. This removes your account, comments, and saved greetings. Shared tasks and voicemail history remain available to the family. Names or details that appear in shared recordings or text may remain in that content.

You can change email preferences in Account and manage microphone access in iPhone Settings.
